What rooms consists your Sims house?
My Sims usually has the following rooms:
Living Room
Bathroom
Kitchen
Dining Room
Bedroom (Masters)
Kid's Room
Study Room (optional)
Recreational and Gaming Room
Skilling Room
Butler's Room
Guest Room (optional)
Outdoor Spaces (including pool and other activities)
Feel free to download any of my homes from the gallery :) I normally build modern homes with an open concept and a nice flow. On occasion, I don't something uber modern in design but I still love an open concept first floor. I really hate mazes and weird floor plans inside my sims homes. Sorry I watch too much HGTV. It has taught me open floor plan is good ;) I use the free build cheat to accomplish my builds at no cost to my dear sims. I tend to go really crazy when I do a build.
I have in my builds:
2 kids rooms (sometimes)
2 toddler rooms (sometimes)
A playroom/area for the kids inside they normally get their own floor they share with the tots. (if I am building a home for a family of sims with tots and kids)
2-4 adult/teen bedrooms suites sometimes with a crib in at least one if someone is expecting
A bathroom for each bedroom because why should my sims have to walk further in the middle of the night to use the toilet or get a glass of water.
1-2 guest bedrooms with bathrooms attached to the bedrooms.
A party & gaming area with DJ booth and dancefloor and juice bar
A bowling alley (space permitting)
A wellness room/area
A fitness room/area
A sauna
A Music Room
A bathroom near the fitness room/area so they can shower right after a workout
A bathroom not attached to a bedroom
At least one kitchen
A study so that people visiting my sims stuff can go there instead of my teen's or kid's bedroom to use their computer without asking. Other sims are so rude. I really want a red paddle to hit other sims visiting my sims just for this purpose.
A pool with a juice bar and hot tub inside. (Sometimes)
A gaming room
Outside Spaces have a rocket and an observatory (space permitting) A pool, hot tub, grill, deck, and sometimes a garden and or a cemetery.
Balconies have easels to paint on and grills to barbeque on.
A dining area
A living room
Sometimes a laundry room because I have lived in apartments and condos most of my life I am used to a washer and dryer in the bathroom because when there has been an en-suite washer and dryer it's almost always in the bathroom. I think I lived in 2 condos that had a separate laundry room in the condo itself.
High-end materials and comfortable furniture.
When I build I want something in on the lot to have my sims use for gain skills.
