I'm afraid that polls aren't really flexible. I remember reading somewhere that someone couldn't even edit the answers... I could be wrong though.
@LiELF maybe try creating a new thread with the poll, so this thread could be merged into the new one? If you synch it with the moderator's intervation, you probably could create pretty smooth transition ;)
