What determines a good date is all wrong so you may just ignore it. The system might have been bugged when I got that message with my two lovers, so I ignored it, or maybe it was always just set up counter intuitively. I'll determine if a date is good or bad and only let the AI have a say if the AI is good. Either way, it was years ago (2015?) and dating might have been tweaked, so take that into consideration if you like.
If you interact with Morgyn you'll probably see that he actually was NOT so unhappy with the date and your Sim.
... But only if you agree with me. You can go with this and let Morgyn have space, if you want. o:)
ETA: Yeah, I just read about the hidden meter I forgot about. UGH yeah ... I was shocked when I got that message. :'(
