Hi! I'm DrWinslowJr, a person who feels like the forums are awesome. I was just thinking back to when I first started playing. My first pack was Get Famous. I'm curious to see what everyone else started with. Was it a carefully chosen favorite, or just the first one you saw on sale? (also I mean expansion/game/stuff/kit)
The Sims Livin' Large. It was the first one out for sale and I never stopped nor did I look back. Sometimes I got them as they were just being put out on the shelf. LOL I was hooked from day one.
For the Sims 4 my first pack was get to work for the active careers. When i first bought the game when it came out I was disappointed and went back to sims 3 . Then the game improved with each pack offering something new now Im never off the game 🤣. As for the other sims games I owned all sims games and packs as soon as they released cant remeber the order for them.
I've been playing since last fall and I thought my first packs were Werewolves and Get Together (I thought it was City Living, though)
Omg, I totally forgot about Outdoor Retreat. 😯 That was my first also. Although I said Get To Work in an earlier post. Guess I was thinking EPs.
My first Sims pack(s) ever was the Sims 1 Double Deluxe & all of the Sims 1 expansion packs in 2004 or 2005. At the time, EA was selling them all for $5 each, and I decided to give the series a try. I have been playing a Sims game on and off since then.
As for the Sims 4, I started playing in May of 2019, when EA initially offered the base game for free. I didn’t buy any packs for it until COVID in 2020, when I bought several packs using the build-a-bundle feature during a 50% off sale (basically all of the EPs, GPs, & most SPs, that were released prior to Eco Lifestyle).
Expansion Pack: City Living
Game Pack: Parenthood
Stuff Pack: No clue, to be honest. Maybe Movie Stuff?
Kits: Storybook Nursery
