With C&D having been released in November, I'm cool with waiting a while for a Seasons EP, as long as I eventually get it and it doesn't make my game go NEARLY as bonkers as C&D did ('cuz let's face it, anyone who uses CC knows any major update's gonna send their game off the rails on a crazy train).

I'm a Witch in reality, whether I actively practice any Craft or not, and looking back on it, I find the Witches of TS2 and TS3 goofy and full of misleading misconceptions that'd surely get repeated in TS4. Not only that, but they'd likely lump everything into one magick skill when there's tons of different skills that'd be better if they were made separate and fully fleshed-out that way - various forms of Divination, spells, go more in-depth with the herbalism skill, etc. Not only that, but if they ever did such a thing, I'd like to see 'em include stuff for the Sabbats - decor, recipes, clothing, etc.

Pop culture like games has destroyed real Witches and their credibility, and I'd like to see a bit more realism in 'em with this game, even if it's just in the skills and harvestable plants they use.

> I'm with you on wanting a Witches GP. In the Sims 3, I always had a Witch going for my personal Sims. And I'm a member of the craft as well. However, I'd never considered them dividing up the magic skill into magic skills, mostly because I've only ever played the Sims 3. I agree that in some ways, pop culture has destroyed what real witches are. My manager literally asked if that meant that I summoned demons. However, I can't say that the Sims should stray too far from the goofy version of Witches. The Sims itself is goofy and that's what makes it so great. From their language, their preferred chosen actions (QUIT GETTING A DRINK OF WATER OUT OF THE BATHROOM WHEN YOU WERE NEAR THE KITCHEN), and everything else that they can do, they really are a goofy set of characters.

They've given vampires the unique ability to build up powers and then balance it out with weaknesses. The same can and should be done with witches. I don't know if it was a Vampire Skill or Points, but they could delve into all the things you want: Divination, Spells, Herbalism. I'd personally love to see Alchemy make its come back. You hear that SimsGurus? You did amazing with Vampires, need to do the same with Witches lol.

True, Romantic Garden stuff was a gardening themed pack...but it was designed for the outdoors. I'd like to be able to build a dream home with a greenhouse...and I'd love to be able to grow trees inside it as well....I know they grow big, but if I make it a two story with no ceiling/floor on the second floor....I should be allowed to grow my tree.
Oh, I never said they couldn't make Witches a little goofy, or that I wouldn't spend my or any close connections' money on a Witches GP, if they did. I just said they needed to make it a bit more realistic this Time around. Wanna give 'em the option to turn someone into a Frog? Fine, but give 'em the penalty of Frogs invading their garden or something, if they do it just because, rather than 'cuz they caught a spouse cheating or something. Wanna give 'em money spells? Fine, but make 'em work if they're truly selfless or in need, but every cent they've already got disappear, if they're just being greedy when they cast it. That's the kinda thing where I say I want more realism on it - action and reaction, reward and consequence, just like Reality, but with just enough goofiness to make it obvious that it's still a game.
And while those points about Vampires make it seem worth buying it...everything I've ever heard says there's no "population control" - i.e. on/off option - for Vamps. Ya get 'em, and you're stuck with 'em, often with 'em getting past things like locked gates to skulk around and attempt breaking into your human Sims' houses. Not something I wanna put up with in my game, so I simply choose not to buy it - even though there's some cool furniture/hair/clothes/etc.
Yeah, greenhouses are something I'd want, either as part of a Seasons EP like in TS2 or in a separate, but corresponding SP. Then I could throw certain plants I didn't want going dormant in there to grow and produce Year-round like TS2 did, if I recall right. If I've got that mixed up with TS3 or wrong altogether, somebody please correct me! I haven't played TS2 since...gods, I think circa 2011/2012!
