I expect basic weather especially rain, clouds and storms, and varieties of temperatures in a seasonal pattern.
After that I just want to see how it's implemented.. I'm good with a variety of ways.
My fantasy in this game is that the weather would make sense in each area... Like snow could cloak Windenburg... but not Oasis Springs.. or at the most you'd see flurries.. but the snow would melt rather than stick and stay if it ever happened. I don't have big hopes that that will happen though because it seems to me anyway that would be very tough to pull off. I would be really impressed though.
