It's all good and well the devs re-coding to disappear after autumn has ended, but,
a) it doesn't solve the issue of rotting leaf piles during autumn and
b) it's possible that the new de-spawning of them is designed to only remove the most recent leaf pile - the fact that they build up on top of each other, in a way that nothing else that regularly spawns in this game seems to do, I think is key to the problem.
