Daz sells the items created by a vendor. Maxis sells their creations.
If EA sold CC content, it would be the same thing.
Daz + are commissioned/Daz owned assets (aka "Daz Original"), which is why I specifically used Daz+ (formerly the Platinum club) I've been working with Daz Studio since 2006. I'm aware of the difference.
