I couldn't choose two, so I just chose family. My families are usually made up of 7-8 sims.

I have a variety of saves, but I think my actual favourite is Crazy Cat Lady - single sim, fill the rest of the slots up with cats. Preferably some of those weird strays where you zoom in to look and them and HOLY YIKES WHAT IS THAT FACE???

I like to play the whole community, so yes to all of those.

Most of my multiple play saves start out with a single Sim Rags to Riches style, which often morphs into a couple or a family with one or two children. But, I also play A LOT of Sim challenges. I'm addicted! :) The range for those can be anywhere from one Sim to a full house in any configuration with or without pets. Plus, I love to build, and have saves for build challenges as well.

It's mostly families.
I don't really think I have roommates unless only Siblings owning a house together counts then yeah I have a lot of roommates.

I always start with a single sim play them until adult. Then marry them off and have them start a family. But I still focus on that starting sim. when they get to be an elder I focus on the offspring. I usually can't get past 3 generations before I start a new save.

Depends on game version and objectives, though single sim or 2 roomies is the usual course. More than 4 sims quickly becomes utter chaos.

I like families, I was gonna try and just play with two siblings but the brother got abducted by an alien and had a kid and he recently got abducted again so I'll see where this ends up going
