When are you guys going to let players join each others game?

That is how Neverwinter Nights I handled it. The game had the capability, secondary to solo play, but you had to go to someone hosting a server and go through whatever hoops they laid out to join. It was a set of small scale individuals that had hosting capability. Bioware itself did not handle a 'y'all come' master server. They left that, like most of the game's development to the community. I'm not personally interested, either, but that is the only way it might work for Sims, small bands of like minded folks you know and trust.
