When Will You be Getting Your Sims Ready for Christmas?
Like the title says - Merry Christmas !!!

I don't celebrate anything, not national or religious or bank holidays or something from another country that is older than most countries on this planet. It's a shame about how jaded i am about all that though, it would be nice to celebrate pancake day once in a while or look after my sisters eldest children on halloween. My personal circumstances dictated that path unfortunately.
When December 25th comes, it will be just another day to me, nothing out the ordinary.
As for my sims? they get into the events regularly (mostly because of the satisfaction point reward).
Although i wish the events were more fleshed out like winterfest, the sort of thing where a child would wake up impatiently waiting to open their presents under the tree, heavy snowfall outside, a nice cozy fire inside, lots of fluff on the walls and on the tree. Father winter who came down the chimney at the start of the day, dropped some presents and left. Main course of a turkey and trimmings at mid day, a christmas cake later on, pulling crackers open and singing of carols. opening of presents, presents your adult sims acquired for their children in knowing what they want and the delight they have opening and getting what they want.
This game doesn't really get into it in the way you hope for. The type of special time where the entire family comes together to enjoy each others company and the seasonal event.
