Actually, gardening is potentially the most lucrative thing a Sim can do...

You can not have romantic interactions with Jasmine, It says it on a few sims community pages with the patch info.

Oh, well the alien planet has glow orb, and now we get grow fruit you think if we graft the 2 we get life fruit back, I really miss it, because sometimes you just need your sims to stay a certain age for just one day.

That's probably just during the challenge. When the challenge is over, they'll probably put her in the gallery.

Um. This gameplay has been in the Sims since the Sims 1 days. Has nothing to do with MMORPG gameplay.
The only thing is now, with advanced tech, they don't have to be in the game permantly.

I remember The Sims Makin Magic (2003) introduced this gameplay where you'd have to find certain NPC's to gain certain items in order to unlock certain gameplay.
It's nothing new to the franchise all that's new is that it's for one month only so we don't have to worry about it always being in our game.
It was probably in the Sims 1 even earlier than Makin Magic.

Okay @sigzy05 , what in the world is MMORPG ?!?! And what Sims 4 Challenges? Like in-game ones or the ones they have already?

MMORPG is a type of genre where you participate online with other people on the same server, completing RPG based goals.

The Sims 4 isn't doing this though. It's just patching in a challenge for a limited time using existing gameplay. You won't compete online nor compete with other people.

All you do is talk to NPC who will give you a rare seed, and you can plant it. If you grow 20 fruits you can unlock a new style of planter which looks nicer than the existing ones :)
