Where is the romance guru?

I came on the forum today and saw a post about the romance guru. When I clicked on it, it was an old thread that had been necroposted and was closed. It said this is someone who's supposed to be at romance festivals that you can talk to for advice, but I have never seen this person. And my Sims have been to quite a few romance festivals.
I googled it and saw that there was a bug report years ago for missing guru from the game, but it had been marked as solved.

So where is this person? Do they dress a particular way or behave in a particular way? Has anyone else never seen them?

Look for either an elder male or female over by the tea that makes the sims all flirty.

Usually in these outfits.

The last time my Sims went to the festival I couldn’t find them either, until I realized they were standing behind the wall divider things (those black &amp; white posts in the above posters pic) for some reason. I seem to be having spawning issues in the city since the last patch, so take a peek behind those if you’re having trouble finding them I guess.

They are at the Romance Festival. I'm not where I can add photos but you'll usually see them standing behind the fountains where you drink the pink tea. You can ask for advice and find out your romantic destiny. I like doing that whenever I send a sim to that festival.

Certain sims do seem to subtly have a harder time finding love than others though I am on team attraction system and romance overhaul. If the sim gets a bad fortune then they start crying. I think the first love guru is Raj's mother but then the game automatically generates a new one.

I guess I'll keep a sharper lookout. I've never noticed anyone hanging out that was different from all the other badly dressed townies. I deleted all the pre-mades and periodically delete most of the randomly generated townies because I don't like them. lol. So I don't know who Raj is.
