I'm torn between City Living and Seasons.
me too! i stan for city living! but Weather and Seasonal change brings everything alive. It's like how curtains change the entire mood of a room. It's the best- GalacticGal6 years agoSeasoned AceI missed my singer Sim so bad, I almost cried when GF was announced. I'm also grateful to the modding community who gave us augmentations to GF so that a singer career can be fully realized. Shout out to Sacrificial's Road to Fame!
- I put seasons, but really I'd answer all except City living. That's the only one I don't really care for. I mean I liked it and use it, but it didn't really add that much to my gameplay and I could easily live without it
- I picked GTW but to be honest I could live without any of them. I know its an unpopular opinion but I don't really care about seasons all that much. I do like holidays but sometimes they get a bit annoying. I like the change of the weather in theory but sometimes it just gets in my way of gameplay.
I took a family to Granite falls for a vacation and we were camping and I had to end up leaving the vacation early bc there was a heat wave and like 4 of the sims were going to die. So in order for me to have stayed I would have had to cheat to get money to stay at one of those houses or traveled to the lodge and make all my sims stay inside all day. It was a waste of a vacation, and the weather really got in the way.
I picked get to work because I really love that you can travel to work with your sims. I think it adds a ton of gameplay. - Gameplay wise it would probably be Seasons. However, I put Get Together because it's the only expansion with a plain white straight pillar. As a builder I use that pillar on ALL of my houses as trim for siding on my homes. I literally need it or else my houses look unfinished to me. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? I just can't imagine it being taken away from me at this point.

I love rain and thunderstorms IRL and love listening to it in the game. ?
Me too. I open the windows when it’s stormy. Brings back memories of sitting in the screened-in porch as a kid with my family, eating all the ice cream in case the power went out. The game does a really great job with the effects for this. I’ve been giving my sims the storm chaser bonus trait a lot, plus cold and heat immunity, and not getting wet. It really helps when sim life feels limited by bad weather.- PhantasmKiss6 years agoNew SpectatorI love Seasons, and it made my decision hard, but I went with City Living. I really look forward to the festivals, and I love learning all the different recipes, then cooking them at home so that everyone else in the house learns them too. My daughter loves the apartments, and I like the art/fashion style.
As much as I like the calendar, I could go back to playing without it, and as much as I like having two more outfits for weather, the weather itself is often a hassle. Give me the arts and the events, please. - Get Together. I need my clubs.
- City living brought so much life, food and culture to my game, so I have to vote for that!
