I'm from California, and I spent a lot of time in Hawaii, and I've never heard of lono as slang before. Nobody in California says that. I think someone probably just took a list of slang from the internet and plugged it in to the blocking software without actually looking at it and editing the list intelligently.

If you still can't find it make sure theres nothing in the household description if they even have one. I couldn't save my made over vlad cuz one of the words in his maxis made description was disallowed.

I know, it's annoying. I had the same problem when I named my sim Anna-Lisa. While I didn't want to upload her to the Gallery, the message that pops up gets annoying. So I changed it to Anna - Lisa (Spaces before and after the -) and the message didn't appear anymore.

Though I do have a theory about my problem. When the game sees the name Anna-Lisa, it only looks at the first 6 characters and finds it inappropriate. So yes, sometimes when using foreign names or connect names with -, game will either look how an inappropriate word can be hidden and does it mean something inappropriate in urban dictionaries.
