- None yet. They footprint system seems to work okay as long as I stick with one household. Only when I switch households and later return to the first, that neighborhood's footprint is all over the place. I haven't yet found a mod that addresses this particular problem.

Yeah my problem is also with rotational play. - None yet.

I use it to keep it industrial. Sorry, I don't want it green and perfect for my current story.
EDIT: Scarlet is no longer supporting her one mod and recommends Basemental

Scarlet's Mods - No Eco Footprint Decay:
No longer supporting.
There’s too many issues, technicalities, and complications with the Eco Footprints for me to continue trying to get this mod working properly. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough scripting knowledge to convert it to a script. Luckily, however, Basemental does and uploaded his version that’s included in Basemental ????? as a stand alone to ModTheSims.
I highly recommend using his. It has more options than this one did anyways.
Before installing Basementals version, the eco footprint kept flip-flopping for no reason. (I'm only playing one household in this save file.) Now everything works perfectly with the mod. - Karababy525 years agoLegendNo Mods, I don't use them. I just have everything Eco turned off for now by default until all the pre-patch (gardening, OTG calls, etc.) and EL issues are properly fixed by the Devs.
- Chicklet453685 years agoSeasoned AceI need help!!!!! I was staging a room for a new set I'm creating and I wanted some awesome sunlight so I moved my girl to San Myshuno to the little single house, everything looked amazing, the sunlight was shining brightly thru the large windows and then all of a sudden, it got dark, my inside lights are putting off NO light unless it's night time. And when I looked at the world it's all green and hazy.
I have everything turned off for eco lifestyle in the options.
So I googled how to turn off the smog and not effect other worlds besides the Eco one and I found the Basemental Eco Hacks mod.
I unzipped it, put it in my Mods/Script Mods folder, started the game, clicked the mailbox, nothing happened.
I re-read the directions and it said to only go one folder deep, so I moved it into just the Mods folder, started the game and tried again, still nothing happened.
I enabled cheats, typed in "basemental.ecohacks" into the cheat bar, nothing happened.
What am I doing wrong?
***EDIT*** ...... Got it working! (I'm blonde in RL too) .... I didn't have script mods enabled in the options. :o - Onverser5 years agoSeasoned AceTo be honest I don't even pay attention to the Eco Footprint anymore. It's just always neutral unless you force it not to be and the benefits of a green world are so nonexistent I can't be bothered to cheat it to green
- GroovyLady19685 years agoSeasoned Ace@Onverser This is why I need the mod if I want an industrial footprint. I don't want it green or neutral. I want the hazards of acid rain and negative moods for my story. There may not be a reason to go green as you said but there are reasons to go industrial.
- thatsme_ever5 years agoSeasoned AceThe Basemental Eco Hacks is such a cool mod! I've temporarily got it out of my game, but the few weeks I used it, it was really good.
