Which packs should I get in August sale?

Hey! I'm a passionate gamer gal who loves Sims 4.

I enjoy playing with families in the Sims, I LOVE CAS and build mode. I'm not a huge fan of occults but love Vampires and like the sound of Spellcasters. I prefer recreating pre-existing fictional characters or celebrities e.g. Lego Friends, Harry Potter, Taylor Swift etc.

I have a dilemma. The Sims 4 is doing an August sale, which I'm so excited about! Most packs are 50% off, 30% off or 20% off which is really cool, and a bargain. However, I'm not sure which packs would be best for me.

I currently already own :

Seasons

Cats And Dogs

City Living

Growing Together

High School Years

Vampires

Strangerville

Paranormal

Romantic Garden

Holiday Celebration

My First Pet Stuff

I think I want to get two bundles (get 3 for 42% off) and an extra expansion pack. Now, the question I have is this : what is more worth the money?

I want to get Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, Get Together, Realm Of Magic, Spa Day/Parenthood, Tiny Living. The problem is, to get 2 bundles and an extra ep means 3 eps, 2 gps and 2 sps. However, I think I want 3 eps, 3 gps and 1 sp. Purely because there's 3 gps that I want, and only 1 sp that I want, so I don't want to waste money on an extra sp that I don't really want.

If I got 2 bundles, I would get Cottage Living, Realm Of Magic and Tiny Living in one, and then Eco Lifestyle, Spa Day/Parenthood and Laundry Day in the other (I don't really want Laundry Day but that's the other sp I'd be most inclined to get), and then Get Together separate.

Would you recommend Spa Day or Parenthood more?

If I did the 2 bundles + ep, that would cost £89.19 (UK pounds). However, if I did 1 bundle + 2 eps + 2 gps, (what I want ideally), that could cost £96.60 (UK pounds). So, what's more worth the money? Is it worth an extra £7ish for a gp instead of sp? My heart is saying yes, but my head is saying no.

I know this is stupid, but I honestly can't make up my mind. I don't want to have to choose between Spa Day and Parenthood... but is it worth an extra £7 just for something slightly different?

What are your opinions on it guys? Can someone PLEASE HELP?! Thank you xx 🙂

  • @1105Cats if you enjoy playing families then Parenthood adds much more to the game than Spa Day. I like Spa Day but probably use that a little less.

Whenever I was deciding on what to get I always used to go through the pack catalogue to help me decide. So that might give you some inspiration.

@1105Cats I was going to say something similar to what @simsplayer818  said about Growing together.  It will add to your gameplay in every household you play, while Spa Day is more of pack for your Sims to have a new place to visit , which won't affect gameplay as much unless you go out of your way to make it happen.  However, if health, wellness, relaxation and nail designs are something you are really into, then you should enjoy Spa Day.
