This is the usual feeling for not-experienced gamers, but you need to understand keyboard and a mouse are a million times better than any controller (gamepad, joystick, whatever) in terms of ergonomy, responsiveness, and other things.
Most people who grown up playing both pcs and consoles end up always being a pc gamer. And i can tell you that ive been playing consoles and pcs since more than twenty years ago (probably way more but im too embarrased to say it LOL), and i dont change keyboard+mouse for anything. In a million years. Controllers are just way too limited in terms of control (ironically) but specifically response.
I sometimes play the console when im with friends because the pc is in my bedroom and its small, but otherwise, PC always.
The sims 4, playing it on a console, honestly i didnt try, but ima not going to....."Holiday;c-17799482" wrote:

I think they mean because PC/Console would be the "platform" to play the game but Origin/Steam would be the "service" we use to get the game.
I know, but as I said I included Steam separately from the PC category as it's new and to see how many people use it instead of the standard PC/Mac client (Origin). Anyways that's really not the point of the thread so can we just overlook it instead of nitpicking trivial details :|"Tantalus;c-17799719" wrote:

I play PC games too, Sims just isn't one of them. I've just always played Sims on console, same reason why I'll always play GTA games on console even though it's available for PC. I don't care for mods/CC either so it's never bothered me I guess.
Also TS4 has only crashed on me once and that's the only issue I've ever had with the game since it was ported over to consoles. It seems like game-breaking bugs/glitches and crashes plague the PC version. I just like the stability of the game on console.- InuMiroLover5 years agoSeasoned AceOnly game I play on PC religiously. Im a filthy console peasant most days. xD
- I'm definitely in need of an upgraded PC.
a friend is going to give me her old one soonish, so that's good. It's got a decent graphics card and 16 GB of RAM (whilst I only have 8 GB). Hopefully this will mean a bit less lag in my Sims game, not that it's bad on 8 GB, just not ideal. - Lustianicia5 years agoSeasoned AceThe only correct way to play simulation games.
- PS4. I only began playing the Sims last year. I’m looking to switch to PC once I get a new laptop.
