San Myshuno seems like a riff on San Francisco, though it's primarily a generic city. While it has Asian influences and has a lot of karaoke bars, most of the items, pre-mades, careers and unlocks are distinctly not Asian. There's also sims of various cultural backgrounds, too. So I took San Myshuno to be an American melting pot city, much like San Francisco.
