It actually used to be a slightly serious offense. You don't see city wide curfews really at all anymore but yes, they used to be a thing.
Here at Argentina (or just some provinces?) there is not curefew, but if under 18 are catched after 23:00 at certain "adult" places as disco or bars or lounges, police can bring you to police station and call family
