Remember how they look like, then go to the Manage World mode. In the upper-right corner, you can find a family with a pencil icon. That is the Manage Households. Click on that and choose Other Households. Find that sim, click on their household and you can click on the trashcan icon to delete them.
I was about to put one of my text tutorials here as you asked for a YouTube video, but I didn't. I didn't find any videos on how to delete sims through Manage Worlds. You'll have to search a manage households video. I put a link here where I have the search done for you. Just click on this text/link, choose a video and enjoy. Or you can, you know, invite him over, get him into a room, lock the door so your sim can escape, start a fire (either by fireworks or campfire) and let him burn to death. Then he cannot send new vampires text messages explaining about the life state!
