Who's EXCITED for Seasons???

Me too. Like a lot. I'm so happy we can schedule events and I'm actually happy about the calendar too xD I love being able to plan ahead and to know the forecast for different worlds. The only thing I really don't like about Seasons so far is that I'll only be able to play it for one afternoon before going on holidays xD

SO excited! One of the reasons I tend to get a little bored in the Sims 4 is I never really feel the passage of time from one day to the next despite aging. It starts feeling like the movie Groundhog Day at times when my imagination hits a lull. Although I'm super duper excited for the weather (and different weather depending on worlds, at that!), I didn't expect the calendar system and custom holidays. That's going huge for me! It will really give my sims things to plan for and look forward to (or dread) and feel like time is finally passing in a way I can internalize.

I’m just coming here to feel happy again. I just saw a gif of the Jungle Adventures world being covered in rain, and I’m very excited to see that in my game. (I just bought JA recently.) :blush:

It was kind of like we knew it was coming, so at first, I was happy, but just so so about it. I'm very excited that:

1. the inside of the house has a thermostat
2. that Father Christmas will visit(I've probably asked for that for 5-7 years; thank you)
3. People seem to decorate the tree
4. the calendar- I'm very interested in what this will mean.
5. the kiddy pool; swings are nice too, but I'd like to have had at least one rider for toddlers. We had 20? in S3 and I wore them out.
6. Was there some type of hot house for plants at the beginning of the video for Seasons4? I'd wondered about that.
7. Flower arranging is something I asked for years to get back since Sims3.

Can't wait to see what else there is. :p

I'm hoping that fashion and things will be neat now that we know we are getting seasons, holidays, and the stuff above. Finally, those sweathers for cold weather that have been in game since the base game will have a reason to be on our sims.

I've wondered what we will get for spring. There was the Easter Bunny. I think of the kissing booth and weddings for the spring??? They did mention birthdays on the calendar and the big day, so I just wonder if they updated the big day? Probably not, but I'm happy for what we are getting.

Something I have wondered about is now that we know and know what some of the stuff is in the EP, what big reveal or what surprise could there be? I wonder if there is more that they plan to reveal at the EA Play thing that they are having soon. One of the things I read was no sunburn, so that probably means no beach.

I have wondered about no sunburn(we could get that if the ocean opens up) and no hail(not a huge thing, but it was a nice effect).

I really like what I see and what I'm hearing about the pack. With vampires, toddler play area stuff, jungles, the warf & Mayor kitty, and other things released lately, I have to say that I'm happier with the game and wanting to play more. I love adopting cats, but I wish it was like farm animals and they didn't count toward the house count. When I first played, I wanted to be a cat lady with many cats, but that didn't pan out. Even though I was not happy about minor pets and the return of collecting insects, I was pleasantly pleased with pets. :)

Well let's hope the Sims Team doesn't forget to update the sweaters and other outerwear we have now especially the turtlenecks that came with Cats and Dogs.

I've already commented I think, but feel like I need to say, with this new developments:

The calendar sounds amazing, and it's going to be amazing to have a solid gameplay item that shows the passing of time as well as the feeling you get from the seasons. If it's as amazing as I think it will be (and I am cautiously optimistic that it will be) it's going to completely change the way I play the game and add a layer of realism. Usually, I plan vacations/parties/weddings on a whim when I realise that the majority of my Sims will be off work. Now I can actually plan it in advance.
