Why are so many bugs NEVER FIXED

They also said on Twitter a short while ago that patches are months in the working. So for example the patch coming December 8, has likely been being assembled since October. So that’s another reason it takes awhile to see fixes.

I know how it works. And this particular bug is not super-wide spreads (I think there are only 10 Mee Toos on it).
It, like the Washing Machine bug might only occur on certain system configurations (tho I have nothing on my system that is remarkable; an Intel i5 processor, an NVIDIA 1050 card. Stock old war horse stuff).

BUT: It is one of those bugs that should be rather easily identified:

If the absolutely only difference between two servos is their gender (and it is), then there should be easy to just check... is the female gender flag altering something, ANYTHING, that the male gender flag does not?

It is, as it is occurring with very clear conditions, one of those bugs that should not require hours of finding the end of thread to start unraveling.

I understand that there are bugs that are hard to pin down, but this has only one major flag to start looking at. Is the female flag doing anything else, at all, whatsoever, anything anything ANYTHING different than the male flag? Yes? Then start there.
