Why do people not like MOO?

I don't mind it in lots I download. Often I will edit builds how I like them anyway. A lot of cases I find it unnecessary, for instance a build could of looked just as good without adding a plant half a square away from where it originally would be placed. I use the cheat myself sometimes just because it bothers me how far away from the walls some items place without it.
