when i think about an online experience ..i can only compare it to the only online experience that i have ever had....it is very hard... despite the very best of intentions... to police each person's experience...there will need to be a method for creating a monetary bank for the game for purchasing....lets just say there will be a rental process for land that you can put a home on...that has to be paid for every day collectively ..lets say rent is due one time a week ..so you can pay in weekly increments..that has to be paid for every day if you are in game or not..you have to factor your real life vacation in and be sure to pay in advance ...you will be the only person who can access your in world bank so you might want to factor in some breathing space for if you end up being gone longer then you expected. ..People..most online folks are very nice ..it is better then you might expect really...why? because online is a masked mentality...no one identifies you as a individual in your actual existence. For a few this makes poor and/or destructive behavior seem less than it would be in equal value in an actual real life scenario. The consequences or risks appear less even if the person stands to be removed from the site. It is easier to use the masked mentality to move in place to do various kinds of "damage" clouded within a white picket fence...in online... there will be times when things are not as they seem at first. You do not have all your senses to trigger alarms or red flags as readily online and folks who want to play "games" will have perfected the playing field. If folks think their sims are void of personality now then they better prepare themselves for a shock...your virtual sim will be as charismatic as you are ...i am sure there will be a space for folks who feel uncomfortable in social platforms so as to avoid unwanted attention but it is hard to police that. unless the sims online would be something that i do have a lack of imagination to understand..i would believe the sims online would fail in much the same way as it did in the past.
