Why does everybody hate the idea of multiplayer in TS5?

I hate the idea of dating other simmers virtually. Even if I didn't already have a boyfriend I would ask that friend out irl before doing it online. As for random simmers who I don't know...quite a few of the people on the Internet are creeps who I don't trust.

I don't want them coming into my game and ruining it. When I game that is my own private downtime.
