For me, once my Sim went to all the festivals & I redecorated all of the apartments & explored the world, CL became boring. I didn't think the lack of building apartments would bother me as much as it did, but I later realized what a huge limitation this was. & not having a functional elevator is plum. I wouldn't say I hate CL. I took a break from it for a bit, and just moved my Sim into an apartment the other day. But that's what I do....I get bored with something in-game and then revisit it months later. I have to rotate things around or I just bored.
IMO I'm having a lot more fun with the GP's than the EP's. The GP's add much more game play than the EP's do. I think I just have high expectations for an EP....and unfortunately, CL was a bit lackluster. Great in the beginning, but once you do everything, it's just repetitious.
