Why Doesn't Maxis Care About the Baby Sims?

Child sims barely even get a new shirt in new packs, so Im not going to hold out much hope for babies getting a proper update. If babies and toddlers were that important to the company as much as they are to family players, we probably wouldnt be having this conversation. Toddlers would have been in the game since day one and babies would have also had much more gameplay attached. I'll eat my hat if we get more content that expands on all sims under child age, but Im just not convinced that players are going to get any sort of meaningful update for babies.
