In reality, there are hundreds of superstars who are not really that famous anymore. Or their fame comes and goes while their superstar status stays the same so its kind of realistic.
That's why I keep my singer Sim mingling with his fans, signing autographs and other Fame+ interactions. He's a Global Superstar. I have also learned to bring a few people with him whenever he has a concert. It's not always necessary as he's hit the big time, so to speak. I do like how he's struggling to have a romantic relationship, however. That's proving to be a very realistic thing. If he gives attention to his fans, his now ex-fiancée would have a total meltdown. She'd throw her hands up in the air, stomp her feet or cry.
