Why is sims 4 save files one one drive? Now all my saves are deleted :(

So long story short, my one drive has been alomst full and I've been trying to fix this for days. Got some help and deleted the documents folder and now all my sim saves are gone. I would have thought...

Thank you, yes i think i do have a recycle bin, I will try and retrive it from there :)
