Why is the outside/inside so dark?

I'm fairly sure it's meant to be that way because Henford is set in an English village and that's pretty much how the weather is in England most of the time.

Maybe it is a bit darker, but I am all in to it. Not every world need to be eternal sun shine and bright.

Honestly I love the gloominess of Henford. It's part of what makes that setting special.

Exactly I was overjoyed when we got Seasons and not only did they give us general seasons, they customized them to match regions. I love that! English weather can be very cloudy and gloomy and rainy in the cooler months. But it’s summer in my current save file now and I find it very bright, we’ve had mostly clear skies and warm weather and not a single heatwave so far.

Sometimes it's almost like Forgotten Hollow, which is also waaay to dark for my taste. Winter in Henford is so dim it becomes depressing.

Adjusting the computer doesn't help since it goes back and forth so much; I don't want to be constantly changing computer settings just because it is raining again.

It's funny you say that. I have presets on my monitor now. Like Oasis Springs is often WAAAYYY to bright. heh!

One thing I have a complaint about in Henford for the outdoors, (and sometimes indoors with no ceiling, just a roof), is that since it gets darker earlier, the lights coming on is only programmed for "night". Would be nice to turn lights on outside manually.
