Will Sims brake up if they catch their partner cheating?

The worst time extreme jealousy has befallen a couple was when I had a Sim and his rooommate Woohoo in the bedroom closet where his SO was sleeping! Even though the SO was sleeping, they knew what had transpired and was both very sad and very angry for a good two days, and when they woke up, preceded to autonomously slap the unfaithful boyfriend and it was a very tense and awkward household for that time. The boyfriend had to stay just friends with their roommate after that debacle lol.
