Will the rats, roaches, and leaking pipes ever stop? (Resolved w/Mod! Updated Orig Post.)

The reason I'm asking is because I didn't realize they were there until after I totally remodeled that fixer upper "the TLC" apartment. I like what I did and I don't want to move. I spent all day remo...

you can't remove the apartment trait :s

Maybe they will make it optional in the future. Otherwise, I'm sure some great modder out there will create a mod that will remove or at least allow you to change it.
