With that said, a little headroom is always nice and it feels wrong to invest in a new computer in 2020 with anything less than 16 GB of RAM.
Yes, I can agree with this as one can look at recommended specs from just released games to upcoming games, those are now asking for 16 GBs and 8 GB is the minimum. I just started upgrading my systems to 32 Gb since that started happening.
