Low graphics aren't really that bad but laptop mode... horrifying. I always used to have it on without realising what it did and when I turned it off it was like a whole new game. Lowest everything with no laptop mode is way better than mid graphics with it. Now I have a better PC and I can run it smoothly on max graphics which is much better again.
As for that PC I'm no expert but it should run it fine, most likely won't do high graphics though.
