Will Vampires affect my gameplay too much?

I really enjoy playing my vampire family . i play them in rotation with the other 12 families , The only thing is for some reason time after time when i try to go home after having other sims on dates i get a message i cant go home as someone is breaking in , thats even when there are other family members at home , So i dont know if the game is getting confused and where they are breaking into

This is a bug that was supposed to be fixed. I'm wondering if it's not fixed for you because the fix may only work for new saves.

I have only had two sims bitten. It just makes you tired for awhile. I don’t play vampires either so far. I have started locking my doors at night. I think that is suppose to keep them out. Also if you study about Vampires and grow garlic that can help too, I haven’t done that yet.

The only thing that affected my sim when I bought the GM was a very...surprised....night...visit....*wink wink*

From my experience with the game, vampires only affect your game if you interact with them or play one. Then they’ll appear much more frequently. If not, they won’t bother you.

I haven't had any issues with Vamps. MCCC sounds like a great solution to the Vamp problem. Humanize all sims.

@AriaMad2 If playing with normal Sims just lock the doors to the outside for everybody except household and employees and that should leave Vlad and co. waiting outside their door in the middle of the night before giving up and going home. (unless you have unwittingly employed a vampire butler of course)!

I got done playing the sims 4. I kinda noticed the vampire meditation isn't working anymore. I don't have island living just yet, but I think something happened to the dark meditation.
