- Winifred_WillowNew SpectatorI will preorder the pack. I am all for the pygmy goats and little lambs plus the horses look fantastic. I am excited for the new world and the new assets. I'm curious to see how the horses will work or if they do in other world and if there are "conditions" for being able to use them-either way it's a win for me.
- ChadSims2Seasoned NoviceNothing about this pack makes me want to rush out and buy it the CAS is nice as is the new dance but not $40 nice. Seriously what is there to do in the open areas ride your horse around to campfires and picnic tables in the world how boring.
Now instead of saying you can ride your horse to campfires and picnic tables or explore a boring cavern as if Jungle Adventure was not bad enough. :/ They should have had said you can take your Sim out to race other Sims or jump obstacles in the world and ride to the rapids and if brave enough your Sim can go white water rafting give me something new not old content I did not like to begin with repackaged.
Also no mention of the character limit they say horses are a part of the family and that horses can have a baby so that's what 3 household slots want a cat or dog possibly both that's 3 spots left for the Sims themselves. - simsimsereNew AdventurerI'm a bit conflicted. I bought Growing Together in good faith and it came with a bug that prevents me from playing how I normally play (visiting families makes their milestones disappear). So naturally I am salty about that, but at the same time I don't think I'm gonna let the bug prevent me from getting my most wanted pack :( With any other pack I would say no, not until the bug is fixed.
- LBonne24Seasoned NoviceI usually pre-order but this time I think I'll wait. This game is a pricey expense. At this point it feels like you should be getting a discount depending on how many packs you already have. Or something.
But also there's a lot of stuff in this that absolutely screams game breaking, and annoying. And other things that will obviously cause issues if the sims team doesn't do the necessary things to improve the game, in order for them to work well and allow simmers to enjoy themselves. Like upgrading household size / separating pets from humanoid sims. And flipping the switch to make pets controllable. They could literally make it a switch like they did for other features. Those are the big ones. But I have real worries that the new ranch hand system is gonna be like butlers/pt service sim mix and be buggy AF.
Add in the new animations, and basic EP issues, and I'd like to wait a bit to bring it in. But my FMO makes me want those items. Plus I like horses, even if these have faces kinda like a sim dog's but stretched. - Looks like a solid expansion and the style will fit a variety of sims so it'll be perfect. I can finally get my creepy cowboy a proper hat
https://i.imgur.com/vvlmXd2.png - I might buy it on sale. I'm not a huge fan of horses, and the other content in that pack doesn't impress me. It seems like too little content for $40.
- sclevenger08Seasoned RookieI'll buy it on launch day. I never pre-order anything since there isn't a reason to(for me).
- Stormyweather43New RookieI will wait to see reviews as I am very much on the fence pun intended on this one. I don't know how good it will be to have horses without an open world, so will have to see how it is implemented.
- AlanMckenzie123New SpectatorVery happy for fans of this but I might just wait for it to be on sale. It still feels like it could've been a Game Pack.
- wexxamRising HotshotIt's upsetting to see how little features there actually are in this EP. We have horses, an equestrian center, nectar making, and mini animals. That's all. For an EP.
At the very least they could have brought pool tables back or the bull that you can ride on.
Also if you noticed in the trailer they literally kept showing the same things over and over again, that's how little content there actually is.
