I bought both the Poolside Splash and Modern Luxe kits today mainly out of habit.
The Poolside Splash kit has some really cute swimsuits! I like the cohesiveness of the color swatches throughout all of the assets because I love to mix & match swimwear tops and bottoms. The necklaces that come with this kit are awesome— so simple and versatile. I’m happy children got swimwear too, but I think not including the toddlers was an interesting choice. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my purchase.
The Modern Luxe kit has some really good additions too! I personally like the purse decor, the artwork and the record player. Some assets remind me of Vintage Glamour, so I think they would pair nicely together if someone owned both. I don’t think the simmer who helped on the pack took any inspiration from those items though, just seems like her style preference. I love when the sims team collaborates with simmers to create a kit, so I hope to see this continue in the future.
