- Hermitgirl6 years agoSeasoned AceI don't really have a main save. I play lots of saves and will mostly play witches and have one wizard (so far) planned to play. They won't all be limited to using alchemy so not sure where "casters" fit in. Are you asking if most of them will be mages if that's the case .. no. I guess I'm not use to the term casters maybe?
- InuMiroLover6 years agoSeasoned AceI only have one save as my main save, but my plan is to redownload the Goth family. After many centuries of magical dormancy and thought to be gone forever, magical ability suddenly takes shape in the Goth children. I want to create their magical legacy!

Another translation will you use witch/Caster/Mage lifestate for the household you'll use the most?- Hermitgirl6 years agoSeasoned AceOkay thanks ..that made it clearer. I expect to play with this a lot but will eventually get back to playing normal human sims probably more often.. percentage wise. I love the idea of playing them but have a lot of sim that won't ever have magical powers.
- annaliese396 years agoSeasoned AceMy main sim is a vampire and his partner is a (future) werewolf, so I can't have spellcasters in that household. Maybe one day vampires will be able to become spellcasters and then I will be able to (unlikely I know, but I can still hope). I am considering changing their daughter into a spellcaster, but only if child spellcasters have something really special about them. I may wait and see if I can make her a fairy instead. I do plan on playing spellcaster characters in two or three alternative saves though, just not my main.
- floridameerkat6 years agoSeasoned AceI'm not sure I picked the correct option, as I'm not entirely sure what this one means, but I will be creating a spellcaster to test out the pack. I'll play them for a little while, maybe give them a kid so I can test out the new trait, but eventually I will return to my main save and just add a spellcaster to it. That's what I did with IL, although I have yet to add a mermaid, and vampires, of which there are now two.

Perhaps my mentally disabled brain not good for polls...
Main Save Option: Regardless of what you'll do you'll always have a Caster in any household you play as (thus your 'main' game just using Play Button will have a Caster)
Only Once: You'll try it but the main controllable sim won't be a Caster (or you just get bored with it in general)
Other: Other as in doing neither option described but still using Casters in some fashion.- I'll be playing a spellcaster mainly to create all the potions, then save them to a room that I can use to build a Potions Shoppe that I can add to my template save (I already have a room with all the herbalism potions courtesy of @mcrudd ), then in future games I can send other Sims there to shop. I'll likely play them more than I do vampires, but in at least one save I'll play a normal Sim but have some caster Sims in the game for random marriages. Not sure if the game will be generating them for walkbys/dueling.

I was thinking of creatug a household with a vampire, an alien, a mermaid and a spellcaster just to have them in the background. Maybe build a nice house on Key Point.
