The birthday thing
Logically I'd assume that it will just work like it already does. If today is Monday and your sim has 3 days left to age then the calendar will mark Thursday as their birthday. That's what I'm thinking.
If you have aging off, maybe they don't get a mark? Or maybe you can add it yourself.
