I am not sure how Sims die of emotions... I don't now why but in my game from the start I did not have 1 single Sim die of anything like that. No electrocution, no Hysteria, nothing.
No idea how @Feisbukaite got all those Sims in this high level of playfulness. It just never happens in my game. However I also never turn on those emotional auras for the little statues that you can collect. So far I did not get to winter yet, as I started in Spring. But I will see how those Sims do in my game, once I get there.
