I'm still playing and still no deaths so far. I had another freezing day and my sim went out to meet his career goals (mischief) and he got a fleeting mood that said something like what am I doing out in this? Then he had a "run inside" animation que up autonomously. I definitely don't want a knee jerk nerf it reaction to happen. I want NPC's to die from the cold if I delay them long enough to have it happen. Now and then for random chaos is fine with me also.

I think those using mods and cc and having this problem need to take it out and put it in gradually. There are some mods I use now and then but I'm waiting for all the patching to be over before adding some back in.
