- ChadSims2Seasoned NoviceEveryone keeps saying this is a Aztec pack has this been confirmed by the Gurus or is this just speculation? The symbol of the pack kind of reminds me of Polynesian symbols I have seen but we have people in here claiming as it is a fact that we are getting a jungle and there is no other possible option are we that sure that the pack icon is Aztec...

Well this is The Sims, so I would not expect real world civilizations to be anything more than inspiration. The icon artwork also isn’t distinctive enough to say it’s from any one civilization either - it’s designed like many mesoamerican symbols, which look similar enough on their own.
It’s fairly obvious that this pack is about exploring.- Hello folks,
I removed a few comments form this thread as they were derailing the conversation.
Please avoid assigning blame for anything!
-Mage - I'm not interested in my Sims having to do laundry, it was a pain in the Sims 3 unless you could hire a butler, but my houses are small and I don't have room for a laundry room in many of them (including apartments). I wonder if a laundromat would be included too, at least that would give room for some new socials. I didn't like World Adventures in the Sims 3, I just wanted my Sims to be able to go on vacation like in the Sims 2--not have to go on endless quests. I'll reserve judgment until we know more--but I hope it's a vacation location and not a quest type of thing. I don't think I'll be getting laundry day because I have enough laundry in my real life.

I'm not bothered about laundry because I've spent the last three days doing laundry load after laundry load in real life. I can't see the game play in a household chore that I hate doing in real life. No disrespect to anyone that is excited for it, it's just not my idea of fun. Not to mention it's not even like it's part of a bigger pack it's a whole pack dedicated to it. To me it still feels like a wasted opportunity but anyway.
As for the adventure game pack? I don't know how I feel. I'm not dead excited or the extreme. I don't think it will be a patch on WA but I hope there is decent game play and it's not a case of go to pretty location once and once you have seen it never go again.
Curious to see more trailers for that.
See. I don't get the whole "let's add chores to the game that I hate in real life" either. I want fun stuff that I can't do but my sim can, like go on a jungle adventure.
Well I mean, to be fair a "chore" could be seen as anything to anyone once you think about it. Someone having to run around to collect coins in a dusty gross tomb just to get a vacation home seems like one massive chore to me  . Different strokes for different folks <3- icemanfreshSeasoned NewcomerI'm thinking of getting LD for the objects and CAS. I thought laundry in TS3 was a nice feature that increased the realism in the game, but it's not really my priority right now. So far the objects look nice, and now I just want to see the full range of CAS items.
I also think the stackable washing machines and dryers are a nice touch - icemanfreshSeasoned NewcomerCome to think of it, I'd like it if we could buy vacation homes like in Sims 2 and 3. But then that would require larger vacation worlds, and so far with OR and Vampires...
- I've been waiting for this trailer for what feels like forever and I knew it wouldn't disappoint. :)

I would love it if they allowed us to change the lot types so we could own them. I hope they patch it in or add that feature in with a new vacation pack. - ChampandGirlieNew SpectatorI saw this trailer yesterday. I'm looking forward to learning more about the GP. It does look like something that I might be interested in. I love traveling and exploring cultures myself.
Laundry? Lol, it's not my first choice. I might add it but probably not right away. I don't necessarily need to get things right when they come out. I will see how the objects and clothing look and if I want those at some point.
