EA is already letting modders fill in the gaps for content in their own game so it's not too far off the mark if they are going to shift to a literal "Make Your Own World" model - only all creators/modders will be forced to upload their content to a "Sims Marketplace" where you pay $1 for a chair, and $.30 goes to the creator, and $.70 goes back to EA for hosting services.
