It'll definitely run it, even the cheapest laptop would be able to run it. I recently got a new laptop in the same price range with similar specs (not sure the exact conversion but mine was the equivalent of 850-900 dollars according to google) and it runs the game smoothly on ultra settings.
People think you need a 2k gaming pc but you really don't for the sims, laptops do actually handle it really well on max graphics contrary to popular opinion, atleast mine does and it was a similar price so this one should be able to aswell! :)
