- @Babycakelings, For me, it depends on if it is a part of a free game update or game pack so I'm abstaining from voting.
If it was something they charged us for...I don't care that much. If it was a free update, I'm all for it (though not as a priority). - HermitgirlNew SpectatorWhile I think it's something that should be done, personally I know I will rarely play with it. I will enjoy it when they do it but would rather have other things.
If we get it sooner rather than later though I'll be happy for those that really want it in their games, and will definitely give it a look see. - We have a three-year old. We’ve just been through all that and babies are boring. They pretty much lie there screaming and pooping. What more do we need them to do in the game? Newborns (which is what TS4 babies are) do not crawl around. I’m not sure why so many people request that.

This is the main thing I want in The Sims 4 at the moment. I just think there's so much more they can do with babies other than just having them in the crib the whole time. It's not like we're asking for babies to be able to breathe fire or anything, just more things we can do with babies (just no fire breathing. It'd be so funny but unnecessary).
Yess. People keep saying “oh theyre boring” Exactly!! Thats what we want to change lol. They can be altered to be a little more interactive. I just want them to feel like part of the family. I know they age up after 3 days or something but as somone who plays with aging off idc lol.- @Stormkeep
Even if they added crawling, and somehow conjured up other riveting things to do with a baby, I can’t imagine those things enhancing gameplay enough to justify the investment of resources. - taydevsimNew Spectatorreally don't care. i mean, if babies were playable what would we have them do? if babies are updated but unplayable they'd just crawl around and cry and poop etc, so they'd basically function like pets. seems really uninteresting to me, and i'd rather teens, and even elders, get updates.
Sims News Live.??
I have heard that Sims 4 Child Social workers are looking into the treatment of our babies.
Allegations were made against a young Sims couple in Sims family court that they would not move their baby more than a few inches from the baby's bassinet.?⚖️
Later they were exonerated finding that it was not the couples fault.
They returned the couples' baby?? over to them finding the baby well cared for, outside of not allowing it to live a normal baby's life.
Babies are precious even to the babies in the family.

Just who is at fault? Who is the blame for the sad Sims 4 babies Could it be Mayor Whiskers??
Stay tuned for future Free updates to the never-ending story of Sims 4. :)"SeaDragonSong;c-16928897" wrote:
I don't actually hate the baby stage, but I'd definitely want it updated.
Me, too - I enjoy playing babies, but it would add a lot to my gameplay if I could do more with them.- @invisiblgirl What exactly would babies add to your gameplay? Like, in what ways can you see them being a rich, fully developed life state? I simply have difficulty thinking they would add something unique that the Toddler stage doesn't add, so I'm curious to know how you think they can be done to enrich the game. You can't exactly teach them talk, walk, or any skills, so what would you do with them?
- joleacoSeasoned RookieYes. I play on long, so babies are around for longer than 2 days. I don’t age up sims early, so it would be nice to do more things with babies other than just tend to them in their crib.
