Tartosa is a pretty world. I like to send my sims there for a visit but no one lives there at the moment. The most interesting lot is on a little island that's connected to the mainland with a bridge.
There isn't much to do in the world but it is great world to take photos with your sims.
The biggest downside is that none of the foodstalls sell local food. With so many worlds the devs try to include special, local food but Tartosa didn't get that kind of attention. Only Asian food.
I don't use weddings anymore. The English only update last year broke the improved features for non English speakers and the bug report about it was closed because it was intended design for these features to be unusable in non-English games. I'm still very disappointed by this reaction and frankly far less motivated to report any bugs. But that's another discussion. I bought the pack before this patch ruined the gameplay and still use the world.
atreya33 Thanks for sharing. I like the foodstalls in the newer worlds, so this is a bit disappointing. I'm sorry to hear the impact of the English-only update.
halisimmer I was so fed up with the whole situation that I didn't do a single wedding for once. I figured I could start a new bug report and today while I was trying to get a screenshot in an unmodded game I found out it is fixed. No idea if it's been fixed two weeks or two months. It wasn't mentioned in a single patch note or laundry list. Hiding fixes by not mentioning them in the patch notes feels so weird. But it seems to be resolved.
I immediately went to check the other bug report I made at the same time just in case that was also fixed without the slightest hint in the patch notes but no luck.
