It's been a long time since I've been on the forums and the look is so different and hard to follow and find the correct place to post. I feel so lost.

Aww I feel you. I was so lost too when I came here, but it gets easier if you just keep on posting and reading and using the forum. It was a slow process for me and felt difficult, but I'm quite used to it already 🙂
There are some settings in My settings -> Preferences -> Replies and Comments, that may help to make the forums more comfortable to use. For example, I prefer to see the newest post first.
