In this industry a lot can be said for the young seeing this industry was built on backs of people who were barely out of diapers and still wet behind the ears. Look at technology - Operating systems, the internet itself - mere kids with visions, dreams, and tons of ideas. Todays Technology was not built in laboratories by ancient scholars with their noses against blackboards doing molecular equations - but instead in the heads of some wide eyed wonder that had an idea - a vision - in their parents garage or cellar....
Sure it all started out with the brilliant learned scholars- but it grew massively and quickly by ordinary young people with one heck of an amazing idea... and most of all a vision to make it happen.
EA at least has vision and a willingness to still at least hear the players - their one bad point is they listen but don't talk much - which if you think about it is not how EA used to be - they did all the talking and no listening - so isn't that at least a step in the right direction. Now if we can eventually get them to do both.... (Technically I guess they do talk eventually - they just don't go out of their way to make sure we see what they are saying. It takes tons of searching to find a lot of what they are saying and doing - which makes it hard for every one to know whats going on - so it is a disconnect for people who do not know what's going on.)
