I put the cauldron outside and sent my witch to it. All of the sudden she is enveloped in a white light! I thought she was messing up another potion. Then, whoosh, off she flew into a spaceship! They must really love her too, she has been abducted 5 times since.
Now, that's a truly bad day for a Sim. Wow.
